Membership in The Seton Consortium is open to those parents, guardians, volunteers, and/or tutors whose application process is completed for The Seton Consortium, Inc. A parent/ guardian must be a Member of TSC for their child/children to receive tutorial services. Admission is not determined until all necessary forms are completed, returned, an admissions interview is conducted and financial obligations to TSC are current. Admission in TSC is subject to approval of its Board. After admission is approved, it may be rescinded by the Board at any time consistent with failure to comply with TSC Policies & Procedures.
Non-Discriminatory Policy: The Seton Consortium, Inc. admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, program, and activities made available to students of the organization. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational and admission policies or other cooperative-administered programs.
A family tutorial fee of $1,000.00 for the 2014-2015 calendar year must be paid annually to TSC in ten monthly payments of $100.00 from September to June.
(All payments are pro-rated one month in advance of services. Payments are non-refundable.)
Tutorial fees are due on the first of every month by cash/check.
*Tutorial Fee is and estimate of each family’s share of the total annual expenses. If the number of families is lower than initially anticipated, the tutorial fee is subject to increase.
(Seton Home Study School expenses are separate and not included above.)
Seton Home Study School (SHSS) is a full service home study program, that is not only accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), but is also recognized as a Catholic school under the Bishop of the Archdiocese of Arlington, VA.
Enrollment and payment of tuition with Seton Home Study School provides families with placement testing, textbooks, lesson plans, testing and grading (on-line & paper), access to nationally standardized tests, academic counseling, on-line resources, transcript and record keeping, in addition to other materials.
High school diplomas earned with Seton are recognized by Catholic colleges and state universities including, but not limited to, Georgia, Kennesaw, and Dalton State Universities.
*Each family is responsible to enroll and purchase Seton Home Study School materials for their children only.
