Commited to our Children & Faith

The Seton ConsortiumSeton Home School

Dear Prospective Parents,

The Seton Consortium (TSC) is a tutorial cooperative founded by families of Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Jasper, Georgia.

How the program works

TSC is open Mondays and Thursdays,
8:45 AM-3:00 PM on the campus of
Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church.

The Consortium is not a school. Its study hall-type environment allows children to work on their Seton Home Study School material at an independent pace, with tutorial assistance
where needed.

Our tutorial cooperative model encourages parents to be the primary educators of their children. Parents adjust the Seton Home Study School lesson plan to fit their child's requirements, bringing them to TSC to work on their home study material in a self-paced manner. Tutors are on hand to assist children and adult volunteers help the tutors in the study hall – type environment.

Attendance is not mandatory, but families are required to pay in advance for a spot in the consortium.

*Please Note: The Seton Consortium, Inc. is not sponsored by Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church, nor the Archdiocese of Atlanta. The Seton Consortium was approved by the archdiocese as a pilot program and leases space to have the home school tutorial at this location.
